It is amazing what this organisation has achieved so far. It is because of all your hard work, that we can already today see our first successes. Not only do we have a clear understanding of how the gas market will most likely develop, we also have a strategy matching this path. This puts us in a good position to reach our ambitious goals. Our work has not gone unnoticed
outside our company either. The approval of our strategy and specific projects that we brought on the way from the GBC and the Board of RWE AG is a big vote of confidence for us.

Now we need to keep up the good work and master the big challenges that lie ahead of us.

I have started to see more and more loose ends coming together. A good example is the newly elected RGM works council. In addition we have already started to create an open and honest culture with innovative communication channels such as the “Pizza Lunches” with the Board and the “gas:midstream talks” which will inform all interested staff members about the tasks and work of different departments. David Fuller will make a start in this and will be talking about LNG and the possibilities it offers.
