After 24 years Andree Stracke decided to leave RWEST at his own request. He was a crucial part of RWE Supply and Trading since the very beginning. Andree joined the company in 1999 and accompanied the company along its 25 years of history. Since 2015 he has been a member of the Executive Board. He helped build up RWE’s energy trading business and drove the global gas business in particular.
The end of February marked his final days at RWEST, but of course he did not leave without a proper goodbye. A big farewell party was held at Essen’s Colloseum. With emotional but also humorous speeches and great live music, the colleagues said goodbye to Andree and celebrated his 25 years at RWEST with a fun evening. In addition to great live music, Andree Stracke himself provided drinks, sweets and more with his Trinkhalle ‘bei Andree’.
